About Me

This is me, when I was 3 years old

My full name is Aprian Diaz Novandi (etimology: Aprian = the one who was born in April Month. Diaz = taken from Spanish word, dias, which literally means day – buenos dias = good day -. Novandi = acronym of my parents’ name), and I am usually called as Diaz. I was born in Tulungagung, a small town located on southern part of East Java Province, in April 12th 1988, 07.32 a.m. (as printed in my birth document), specifically in Tri Pantris Hospital. I am the first son of a couple, Suandi and Noviana Hanifa, two teachers in STM Negeri (State Technical Vocational School) in Tulungagung. My father teaches some lessons and practical work in Electrical Installation and Application Vocation Program, while my mother teaches mathematics.

I spent my childhood, and also my primary and secondary school age in Tulungagung. But now, I am pursuing my study in Bandung City and becoming a university student in Informatics Major, School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB, Institut Teknologi Bandung). For your information, actually I did not have any imagination to pursue my study here, in Informatics ITB, even when I was in third grade of senior high school. At that time, I only had imagination to pursue my study in Architecture and choose some institutes and universities in Surabaya or Malang, as I used to have a special interest in drawing and visual art. That those two cities are located not too far from my hometown was my other reason. Finally, the destiny made me being here.

I have choleric-melancholic personality type and tend to be introvert (although it is not too excessive). I usually like to talk about something simply without any connotation, and I do not like hypocrisy in any part of my life. I am also a kind of reactive person, who is easy to be emotional but no longer lasts. That’s me. My friends say that I have a strange sense of humor, and I do not understand what the causes are. So, do not be bored to hear my jokes, which will make your head be wrinkled. Some people also say that I usually do something that unusual for them, but I do not think so. I just think that I am just a usual person like you all who read this blog.
