Google Translate™ Added 11 New Languages (Including Indonesian)

Perhaps this information is somewhat late because actually Google announced that they had added eleven new languages a week ago. Those languages are Catalan, Filipino, Hebrew, Indonesian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese. Well, three of ASEAN languages are included. That sounds good… :D

I have just heard the information after reading a new post in one of mailing-list that I follow. I quote these from research.google.com,

As a result, we were recently able to significantly increase the number of languages on translate.google.com. Last week, we launched eleven new languages: Catalan, Filipino, Hebrew, Indonesian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Ukrainian, Vietnamese. This increases the total number of languages from 23 to 34.

I have tried to test it (Indonesian-English) with one of my post in this blog. Then, you may read the example and also see the screenshot below,

Yeah, that is good but it is still imperfect and also funny (according to me :D ). Well, at least it is still better than another translator that I have tried before :P . I think it is still useful for translating words (or even phrase) one by one but not always provides you the translated sentence that have the right syntax. Anyway, good job. Thumbs up for Uncle Google! :D
