Tulungagung in the Lens (April 4th – 5th, 2008) – Part Two (End)

This is the continuation of my previous post. Now, we will move to another place, namely R. A. Kartini Park located on R. A. Kartini Street, near the Pendopo Kabupaten “Kongas Arum Kusumaning Bangsa”. Pendopo is a place where the regent usually meets his important visitors or a place where some of important ceremonies are being held (correct me if I wrong).

Part Three: Al Munawwar Grand Mosque (Masjid Jami` Al Munawwar)

This is probably the biggest mosque in the whole town (correct me if I wrong). After being renovated, now people may enter the mosque via the southern gate. Overall, in my opinion, the latest architecture is great, but not with the minaret.

Part Four: Miscellaneous (Culinary Tour on Pasar Sore Food Court)

Pasar Sore is probably one of the famous culinary tour destination in Tulungagung. There are many special food that is (of course) delicious. The picture below is Tahu Lontong (do not be confused when you are looking at the picture, as I usually eat the tahu/tofu with rice :D ), one my favourite food. If you visit Tulungagung, do not forget to go to Pasar Sore and taste some of the foods sold there.

Yeah, those are all my photographs about Tulungagung. If I have another photographs which are probably interesting, I will share those in this blog. See you later!
